Shimano Deore Di2 RD-M6260 E-MTB Rear Derailleur Description:

The Shimano Deore Di2 RD-M6260 E-MTB Rear Derailleur has been designed to integrate Shimano’s LINKGLIDE shifting into an E-MTB’s battery/propulsion system to deliver excellent shifting performance and rugged reliability. The derailleur body incorporates a skid-plate design, a wide link structure for enhanced drivetrain stability, and solid pulleys to ensure a long life of precision shifting. A revolutionary wedge shape to the derailleur body adds considerable clearance that helps to avoid and/or deflect impacts, and an integrated RD Protection function instantly returns the derailleur to its original position after impact. Shadow ES chain stabilization is an evolution of the original Shadow chain stabilization system, and has been developed in part to create the lower profile at the leading edge of the derailleur while still maintaining strong chain retention and reduced chain slap on the chainstays; the long pulley cage design enables the use of a 11-50T 11-speed LINKGLIDE cassette for a very wide gear range that will allow a rider to be able to hold their own over the most demanding, technical terrain. As for the shifting, lightning quick and very precise shifts happen at the moment the Di2 Shift Switches are actuated whether the rider is pedaling or coasting (thanks to FREE SHIFT Technology), and if enabled, AUTO SHIFT technology can even automatically select the optimal gear depending on the bike’s speed and the riders pedaling cadence. Finally, this derailleur plugs directly into the E-Bikes battery for plenty of juice to get through a ride.
