Shimano S-PHYRE Flash Shoe Cover Description:

Shimano utilized extensive wind tunnel testing when developing the S-PHYRE Flash Shoe Covers in the quest to conserve as much energy for the rider as possible and to make every second count. Extensive use of elastic aerodynamic fabrics and a tightly wrapping, wrinkle-free fit creates maximum aerodynamic efficiency. The tall cuff (which has a UCI-compliant height) with wind cheating vertical grooves utilizes a no-slip silicon grip fabric to keep these covers in place on the leg, while the hook-and-loop fastener creates a secure fit on the bottom of the shoe and allows for easy removal of the shoe covers when the days speed session has ended.

Features:

• PU-coated stretch fabric (made with 48% recycled polyester) ensures smooth aerodynamic surface across the foot and from the toes to the ankle
• Elastic aero fabric from the ankles up features vertical grooves that reduce aerodynamic drag
• Seamless fit tightly wraps around the cycling shoe and over the ankle opening, eliminating gaps, unevenness, and wrinkles from the calf to the instep
• Silicon grip fabric at the calf opening prevents slipping of the shoe cover while pedaling
• Hook and loop fastener located on the bottom of the foot provides a secure fit and makes it easier to put on and take off covers
• Large cleat opening will clear any style of clipless pedal cleat
• Cuff height is UCI-compliant (actual cuff height may vary based on riders foot and leg measurements)
