This is a set of SRAM Red Gel Handlebar Lever Transition Pads. Early versions of SRAM Red shift lever hoods have an abrupt transition between the hoods and handlebars. SRAM users and mechanics have fixed this issue by layering extra handlebar tape in the transition zone, but now there is a fool proof solution from the SRAM factory.
SRAM Red Gel Handlebar Lever Transition Pads are durable, comfort adding, form-fit pads with pre-cut cable routing grooves. There are 2 pads for inside and 2 for outside routing, and the pads are backed with a light adhesive to help keep them in place.
