The Selle Italia Model X Comfort Plus Saddle uses close source manufacturing and 100% sustainable materials to create a saddle that delivers exceptional comfort and performance along with being environmentally friendly. A fiber reinforced Flex Control base has been engineered with a bit of flex to efficiently absorb impacts and vibrations and still provide the support needed to hold up to long term use. On top, the wider width features generous gel padding and a large Superflow cutout to alleviate pressure on sensitive perennial areas, and the soft-to-the touch surface is gentle to both skin and fabrics while having enough traction to prevent unwanted slipping around. Finally, this saddle has been engineered to have a long useful life, and when the saddle has reached the end of its life, the raw materials can be recycled to produce new saddles and other goods.
