Salsa Spearfish C Deluxe GX AXS Transmission Mountain Bike Description:

The Salsa Spearfish C Deluxe GX AXS Transmission Mountain Bike is designed to be a highly adaptable bike that can be set up as an XC racing, endurance XC, down-country, or local trail crushing rig. This bike sports a Deluxe carbon frame construction which shaves 250 grams off of the standard Spearfish C frame, and the rear triangle is equipped with a responsive Split Pivot design that effectively isolates the braking forces from the pedaling forces so the rear suspension will remain supple and glued to the ground even under heavy braking. Unique to shorter travel bikes, a Flip Chip is incorporated into the aluminum upper link to let the rider adjust the handling characteristics of the bike to suit personal preferences and/or fine tune the bike to suit whatever the terrain is demanding out of the setup. Controlling the squish is are lightweight Fox 34 SL Performance Elite fork and a Float SL Performance Elite rear shock that will ensure the 120mm of front and rear wheel travel behaves as the rider desires. A very broad 1×12 speed gear range is controlled by SRAM’s GX Eagle Transmission wireless electronic drivetrain, which delivers very rapid and precise shifting performance even when it is time to lay down the power; when it is time to apply the brakes, reliable and powerful SRAM Motive Bronze Stealth 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes outfitted with 180mm rotors front and rear provide powerful and easy to modulate braking for enhanced bike control no matter what the trail or weather throws at the rider.

Lightweight WTB wheels with tubeless ready, 30mm internal width rims support 2.4″ wide Teravail Camrock XC tires to create a smooth rolling package that flies easily over hardpack terrain. When encountering a particularly technical part of the trail, a TranzX dropper post drops the WTB Silverado saddle out of the way so maximum control of the bike can be achieved. Rounding out the complete package are multiple accessory mounts throughout the front triangle and rock solid cockpit components from Race Face, Salsa, and WTB, resulting in a very adaptable and capable full suspension bike that will make any epic day on the trails way more fun and manageable.
