Magura 13.S Disc Brake Pads were developed as an all-around brake pad specifically to optimize the braking performance of Magura’s Gustav Pro hydraulic disc brake. These pads feature an organic compound that hits the sweet spot between braking power, low noise, and stability. This compound was formed into a pad with significantly larger volume than other brake pads in Magura’s lineup, and the combination of the material construction and size helps to better dissipate heat for more consistent braking power and a longer pad life so there are longer time intervals between pad replacements. Finally, a slightly longer metal backing plate makes it easy to grip the pad when installing it into the caliper and will help to radiate the heat away from the pistons in the caliper, ensuring the brakes are always ready when the rider needs them the most.
